I’m FINALLY doing a MLSP / My Lead System Pro review

after being introduced to it (and actually used it, generated leads and made money with it) over 2 years ago. I want to assure you that this is going to be brutally honest and thorough.

Wow, this Halloween weekend was truly one of the happiest weekends of my entire adult life.

In Houston, Texas I witnessed network marketing professionals from more than 30 countries, representing 59 different business opportunities in attendance, learning and growing in unison.

A unified industry is something my business partners Tom & Kim Challan and myself has been promoting through Priority Team since its inception.

Art Jonak and his mastermind event totally fired me up, and the fact that he shares the same vision as us and has been leading this event for several years really adds fuel to the fire for all of us at Priority Team.

But one of the most satisfying moments of the whole weekend was the “Olive Branch” session with my friend Mike Dillard and Art Jonak, the mastermind event’s host.

Before we go any further, I hope you understand the significance of this session.

95% of all attendees in this event were what Mike would consider “old-school” networkers… the very group of people the sales letter for his famous course ‘Magnetic Sponsoring’ seemed to have tramped for the past 5 years.

Naturally, it was a bit odd and even shocking to some that Mike was at the event, let alone leading a session with Art in a potentially hostile environment.

Why would someone like Mike put himself in this situation where 95% of the people saw him as “the enemy?”

Personally, having known Mike as a friend for the last 2 years and a mentor for 3…

I was not surprised because the Mike Dillard I know understands the network marketing industry very well and has incredible integrity.  This is not to say he is perfect.

Oh, and several people came up to the microphone with some challenging questions during an intense Q&A session, including Randy Gage himself!

But anyhow…

It was awesome having Mike there and seeing him stand up for the industry by answering every question thrown at him.

To see these top leaders from come together, and Mike showing up in such an open forum to essentially help ease the rift between the “new school / online” and “old school / offline” literally brought tears to my eyes.

As an industry it’s time we unite as one to not only help raise the overall image of the industry, but to help more people because there are folks out there seriously hurting financially (which leads to other challenges) and we have the solution!

And I was so happy that I was right beside them to witness this historic moment.

I see powerful collaboration between these two giants.

Network Marketing Leads -

Warm Market, Cold Market or Attraction Marketing?

Look, you can’t please everyone and I’ve quit trying to a long time ago…

and what I’m about to say may not please those that swear they’ll never contact their warm market to build their MLM, but I suspect it’ll give them something to think about.

If you’re one of them… read on!

First of all, let’s establish what “warm market” network marketing leads are…

I think it’s safe to say that by “warm market” we’re talking about people that already know us, hopefully like and trust us.

And by “network marketing leads” we simply mean “prospects for your network marketing business.”

Are we in agreement on that?

Ok, let’s move on.

It’s all about the relationship, or is it?

Well, It is.

The designation of how “warm,” “cold,” or “hot” a network marketing lead / prospect is is generally based on the intensity of the relationship and trust established with that person.

So when we talk about warm market we’re typically thinking of family and friends.

Obviously we pretty much have a fixed number of family members, but we can continue to expand our circle of friends…

Right?

After all, we weren’t born knowing all the friends we have today, were me?

Which drives home the point that getting more qualified network marketing leads is really about building a BIGGER WARM-MARKET.

Regardless how you’re getting your prospects today:

• Offline, face-to-face, out and about (please, I’m not talking about 3-foot-rule pitching style. it’s not very effective anywhere, on or off-line)
• Buy network marketing leads from lead stores
• Join a team advertising co-ops
• Generate your own on or offline (this includes “attraction marketing”)

it’s about building a better relationship with the people you’re in contact with.

And by “in contact” we’re talking about e-mailing, Facebook-ing, talking on the phone, sitting down over a cup of coffee, a hotel meeting… whatever.

So often we get sucked into a scenario described in a sales letter thinking that’s Everyone’s experience.

Except it’s not.

If you’re actively building a business today and are seeking to really grow your business to the level to which you know you can lead…

Then I’d say help those on your team understand, with clarity, what they are EXPECTED to do.

Most people want to be led (laziness and fear of failure, and yes I have to consciously battle these human flaws myself), so we be the leader and lead with clarity and a high level of ethics.

Help them look beyond the marketing in the salesletters, and should they choose to buy a training product, learn what they can, apply it, and just move on.

Yes, we’ve developed solid relationships over the past 2 years.

Are they going to join my business?

Potentially.

I’ve used the same principles I abide by to connect with just about anyone I want to…

building a huge, influential circle of warm market contacts…

In fact, I don’t have to, nor do I want to (some people are pretty high maintenance!).

But the message here is that building relationships correctly is the key.

Network marketing is a very simple industry.  It’s extremely professional but very, very simple.  There are basically 3 componemts to successful network marketing business.  I’m going to draw it up on the board.  Again network marketing is a very simple industry.  I’m going to draw it out on the board.  If you can have a little cheat sheet, just talk from the cheat sheet.  All it takes is a little bit of consistency and persistence.

So… three components:

1) you have the business opportunity itself.  This could be health and nutrition, dietary supplements, some kind of juice or vitamin packs.  Or if you’re in beauty: cosmetics, skin care, and so on.  And there’s definitely other types of network marketing business opportunities.  Greeting cards, travel services, even containers.  I think there’s only one company that makes that product.   So the business opportunity itself is the company that provides the products or services with which you can make commissions.  In order for these companies to operate, they need people to purchase the products like every other business.  Their business motto is to distribute their products through private distribution channels who we call distributors or independent business owners, or whatever you want to call it.  But essentially, individual entrepreneurs who would like to help the company get the word out through word of mouth advertising or other forms of advertising…
